Lovely and powerful words.
Thank you so much. much appreciate your comment
I never could write a haiku. Well, maybe I never tried. I bookmarked the site and maybe will try (in secret)
Oh, you can try Haiku in open:) You may use the traditional form of three lines and 5-7-5 syllables or the modern form..I don’t follow traditional form…and thank you so much for the bookmark:)
Oh I just love this one, love it – it really speaks to me personally. Love it also as it has resonances of one I did about ho chi minh, not similar, jut tiny echoes. This one was masterful though. I feel like I really understood it personally – and your depth and breadth as a poet is something I appreciate very much – you ain’t a poet or hajin fixated on love, or nature, you go places with your words, and I like that very much.
The military and the militant – one fighting for the country and the other for a cause..both do not know if they will see the sunlight..the thought inspired this poem..and thank you so much for the kind words. You are very generous with appreciation..
