The sun sets reluctantly,
Loath to depart from you
The moon rejoices looking at you
Everyone wants you
Combating for you
No war stops people
From visiting you
And devouring your beauty
I do not seek any piece of you
You may not belong to me
For nature does not belong to anybody
It requests to be shared
It begs for generosity
And desires harmony
To safeguard its beauty
And preserve its soul
It may never personally belong to you…..but be yours all the same. I love this.
True. Nature belongs to everyone. Thank you for liking this and the comment:)

Wonderful poem, I really love this – if we as humans do not learn to take care of nature and mother earth, there won’t be anything left for us to enjoy. Nice write! ~ Julie
That’s true..Many wars have been fought for land..How many really care for Mother nature?
